Pickling Lime is another name for Calcium Chloride(CaCl2).
Dosage:
- 0.75 tspoon per 500g of Pickles
- As water adjustment agent in beer, use as per required.

Calcium Chloride has been used for centuries to make fermented Pickles and Krauts. It helps to keep pickles crunchy and allows a larger variety of good microbes to grow.
CaCl2 is also widely used to make adjustments and add Cl ion to brewing water. It also helps lowering the pH of water and supplies calcium mineral for yeast health.
